Hayley Warren Equine Dentistry

From January 2010 I will be studying at Kings College Dental Institute, to become a Dental Hygienist and Therapist. The course is 27 months full time, so my equine dentistry time will be limited- however I hope to continue rasping during holidays and weekends and hope to continue to see as many of you as possible.

In an ideal world, a horse should have a dental check up every six months to keep the dentition as comfortable and as functional as possible.

Regular Rasping Is Essential!

All horses will benefit from regular removal of sharp edges, points, calculus and overgrowths. The improvement of quality of life (and behaviour under saddle!) resulting from a comfortable mouth cannot be under-estimated.
